Data Warehouse Build a Template for GXL

Use the GXL formula to retrieve account balances for a specific format/reporting period. The following is an overview for the GXL formula for Data Warehouse ledgers:

Field Description

Key 1

This header and field value vary based on the requirements of the selected Data Warehouse profile (for example, Balance Type).

Key 2

This header and field value vary based on the requirements of the selected Data Warehouse profile (for example, Organization).

Year

Click the drop-down list, and select the reporting year.

Format

Click the drop-down list, and select the time range for which to retrieve data. Valid formats are:

  • PER
  • QTR
  • DQTR
  • YTD
  • LTD
  • RANGE

Period

Click the drop-down list, and select the corresponding period, quarter number, or range of periods (for example, 1.5 for periods 1 through 5) for the specified format.

Profile

Click the drop-down list, and select the desired Data Warehouse profile.
